Shipping & handling
Orders placed before 2 PM ET ship same day, Monday through Friday, in insulated packaging with cold packs where required. Lyophilized products are stable at room temperature in transit; storage guidance is printed on every label. Domestic delivery typically takes 2–4 business days.

01How do I know what's actually in the vial?
Every batch goes to an independent lab before it reaches our shelves: HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for identity. The certificate of analysis for your exact batch ships in the box, and you can pull it up any time by entering the lot number in the COA lookup above.
02How do I pay?
Checkout creates a payment ticket with a ticket number. Pick a method (Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, bank transfer, or crypto), send the amount shown with your ticket number in the memo, then tap "I've sent the payment." We verify within about 30 minutes during business hours (bank transfers take 1–3 business days). Crypto orders get a discount that's shown at checkout and applied automatically.
03How long does my payment ticket stay open?
24 hours for Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay and crypto; 10 days for bank transfers. We'll nudge you in your ticket's chat after 2 hours and by email after 12. If a ticket expires, nothing is charged. The items go back in stock and you can reorder any time. Already paid but the ticket expired? Message us with the ticket number and we'll match it up.
04How fast will my order arrive?
Orders in by 2 PM ET ship the same business day. Our promise is delivery within 3 business days of your shipping confirmation. If it's late, you choose a full refund or a reship.
05How is it packed?
Temperature-sensitive products ship in an insulated box with ice packs. Everything goes out in plain outer packaging with nothing printed on the outside, and every vial is sealed and batch-coded.
06Can I track my order?
Yes. The moment it ships you get an email with the carrier and tracking number, and the same tracking shows on your order under Account → Orders. Each ticket also has its own chat thread where we post updates.
07Which product is right for me?
Start with your goal. The catalog is organized by it. Skincare products are for topical daily use, the wellness line covers ingestible formulas like collagen and capsules, and the specialty catalog serves laboratory buyers. Each product page lists size options, bundle pricing, and what's included.
08What are "specialty compounds"?
Research-grade materials sold strictly for laboratory use, not for human or veterinary use. Opening that catalog requires acknowledging the Research Use Agreement first, and every order of those items is certified at checkout.
09How do Odd Points work?
You earn 1 point per $1 on every order. Bulk 10-packs earn on the full pre-discount total. Every 500 points is $25 off your next ticket, redeemed in chat. Points also move you up the tiers (Glass, Copper, Silver, Obsidian), each with its own perks. See it all under Account → Points.
10Do you ship internationally?
Every order ships to US addresses. We also ship to a short list of other countries. Message support with your country before you order and we'll confirm whether we can deliver there and what to expect at customs.
11What's your return policy?
Unopened products with the seal intact can be returned within 15 days of delivery for a refund. Anything opened or unsealed is final sale. That's a safety rule, not a loophole.
12How do I reach a person?

By ordering from The Odd Vial you confirm you are 21 or older and agree to these terms. Products in our skincare and wellness lines are sold for their labeled cosmetic or dietary use. Products in the specialty catalog are sold strictly as laboratory research materials to qualified purchasers who accept the Research Use Agreement below; we may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders we reasonably believe are inconsistent with that agreement. Prices, availability, and product details may change without notice. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], and any disputes will be resolved in [COUNTY, STATE].

Orders placed before 2 PM ET on business days ship the same day in insulated packaging where the product requires it, in plain outer packaging. You receive the carrier and tracking number by email and on your order page the moment it ships. Our guarantee: if your order does not arrive within 3 business days of your shipping confirmation, contact us with your order number and we will refund your order or reship it, your choice. The guarantee excludes orders with an incorrect or undeliverable address provided at checkout, and ends the moment the carrier's tracking shows the package delivered. Delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other events outside our control are not covered and are not credited. Returns: only unopened products with the seal intact and in original packaging may be returned, within 15 days of delivery, for a refund; opened or unsealed products of any kind are final sale. An order is delivered when the carrier's tracking shows it delivered to the address you gave at checkout. We ship to US addresses, and to selected other countries by arrangement. 03Payment AgreementHow payment tickets work, verification times, expiry, crypto
Orders are placed through a payment ticket. Tickets are payable by the methods shown at checkout: Zelle, Cash App, Apple Cash, bank transfer, or crypto (discount shown at checkout; amount locked at the live rate when the ticket is created). Payments must include your ticket number in the memo and are verified within approximately 30 minutes during business hours (9 AM–9 PM ET); bank transfers clear in 1–3 business days. Tickets unpaid after 24 hours (10 days for bank transfers) expire automatically and stock is released; a payment that arrives after expiry is matched to a reopened ticket or refunded. Crypto payments are final once confirmed on-chain; all other refunds are handled under the Returns policy. Sending payment constitutes acceptance of these terms. This is template language. 04Privacy PolicyWhat we collect, why, and how to delete it
We collect the information needed to run the store: your name, email, shipping address, and order history, plus basic analytics about how the site is used. We use it to fulfill orders, provide support through chat and email, honor the delivery guarantee, run the points program, and, if you opt in, send our newsletter. We do not sell your personal information. Payment details are handled by the payment app or bank you choose and never stored on our servers. 06Research Use AgreementApplies to every specialty-catalog order
Products in the specialty catalog are laboratory research materials. By purchasing them you certify that you are 21 or older and a qualified purchaser; that the products will be used solely for in-vitro laboratory research; that they will not be used in or on humans or animals, nor for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes; and that you will not resell or distribute them for any such use. You accept full responsibility for compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to your purchase, possession, and use, and you agree to indemnify The Odd Vial against claims arising from use inconsistent with this agreement. We reserve the right to require additional purchaser information and to refuse any order.
